Experts were interviewed to get an understanding of the psychological and biological knowledge of sleep, Its importance, the causes, and possible solution to the problem. 8 creatives from various creative fields were interviewed to understand their routines, habits, relationships with sleep and work, their relationship with technology at night, etc to find opportunities for design.
In order to understand the context better 6 creatives were asked to maintain a sleep journal for a week where they took down notes about their experience when they tried to sleep consistently, ways they went about achieving it, struggles, and their thoughts during the whole journey. They were also asked to run their notes down with their partners for accuracy and perspective.
